Daiwa Gekkabijin MX Rods are designed specifically for applications where being able to consistently cast even the smallest lures accurately is extremely important. These ultra-light rods feature a super slim blank construction with incredible wall thinness, this is achieved through a combination of HVF High Volume Fibre and X45 technology. A high modulus carbon fibre material and a fully integrated Mega Top solid carbon integrated tip section are used to create a rod with an extremely responsive action and ultimate sensitivity.

The Gekkabijin MX has a remarkably high level of finish with micro pitch, a guide train comprised of Fuji's lightweight titanium K guides and SiC inserts, and a customised Fuji TVS reel seat that provides exceptional sensitivity and control. These ultra-light casting instruments are a versatile weapon in the hands of a skilled angler.

HVF
HVF (High Volume Fibre) combines precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to produce a blank with maximum graphite density, making it incredibly sensitive, light and responsive.

Mega Top
A revolution in sensitivity, Megatop is unlike any other ordinary solid tip construction. The new SVF - SPX material binds graphite fibres with precise resin control for an extremely even distribution of fibres. The result of this is virtually no spine in the rod tip so it bends the same angle in any direction. This allows for incredible pinpoint cast control with the lightest of weights, and its incredible transference of even the slightest bump or vibration allows for heightened bite detection.

X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.
