It wasn’t long before recreational anglers adopted the method & successfully built an array of lures now available to the public. Over the last decade or so, we have seen local NZ product developers finesse these lures into a product that is deadly in NZ waters. 
 
It's a category that has seen the biggest brands in the world rush to bring an array of lures to market, providing a plethora of options for us anglers.   • Daiwa Kohga Kabura Lures: Let’s start with the premium kabura lure in the NZ market. This is a series of lures that have been completely rebuilt from the ground up specifically for the NZ market. New hooks, new Kevlar assist cord & new components. You will pay a premium for this lure but the longevity & performance will be noticed against its competitors.
