Men's Shirts
Men's shirts for casual and smart-casual wear, from rugged flannels and overshirts to lightweight travel and fishing shirts. Our range features Just Another Fisherman, Norrøna and more, built with the quality and practicality of outdoor brands.
Shirts range from warm layering pieces to light sun and travel shirts. A flannel or overshirt works as a casual layer over a tee in cooler weather; a lightweight button-up in quick-drying fabric is ideal for travel, fishing and hot days; and a smart-casual shirt covers when you need to look a bit sharper. Think about the fabric weight and whether you want it as a layer or a standalone, and how it pairs with your tops underneath.

Frequently asked questions about men's shirts
What is the difference between an overshirt and a shirt?
An overshirt, sometimes called a shacket, is a heavier shirt designed to be worn as a light outer layer over a tee or another shirt, sitting between a shirt and a jacket. A standard shirt is lighter and worn on its own or under a layer. If you want something that works as a casual jacket in mild weather, choose an overshirt; for a normal top, a regular shirt.
What shirt is best for travel?
A lightweight, quick-drying button-up in a wrinkle-resistant fabric is the travel shirt sweet spot: it packs small, dries overnight after a wash, resists creasing and can be dressed up or down. Many technical and fishing shirts fit this brief and add sun protection too. For one shirt that does a lot on a trip, choose a light, quick-drying, crease-resistant style in a neutral colour.
Can I wear a flannel shirt as a light jacket?
Yes, that is one of the best things about a heavier flannel or overshirt. Worn open over a t-shirt, it works as a casual layer that takes the edge off a cool morning or evening, and you can take it off and tie it round your waist when it warms up. For genuinely cold or wet weather you will still want a proper jacket, but for mild days a flannel is a great light layer.
How should a casual shirt fit?
Aim for the shoulder seams sitting at the edge of your shoulders, the body skimming your torso without pulling at the buttons or billowing, and the sleeves ending around your wrist bone. Overshirts can be worn a touch roomier so they layer over a tee. If you plan to layer it or wear it open, factor that in when choosing the size.
What makes a good fishing shirt?
A good fishing shirt combines sun protection, often a UPF rating, with lightweight, quick-drying, breathable fabric to keep you cool and covered on the water. Useful features include a vented back, roll-up sleeves with tabs, and chest pockets for gear. It is really a technical shirt tuned for long, sunny days outdoors, which also makes it excellent for boating, travel and general summer wear.
How do I stop shirts from creasing and keep them looking good?
Choose crease-resistant fabrics for travel, hang shirts as soon as they come out of the wash while slightly damp so creases drop out, and avoid over-drying, which sets wrinkles. A quick iron or steam finishes them off. Storing shirts on hangers rather than folded keeps them sharp, and washing cool preserves the colour and fabric over time.
