The Malosi Tyrant 180P is a bold diving popper designed to dominate rough water and intimidate predators into striking. A flared cup face and deep-set keel bite down hard, forcing Tyrant to dive, roar and throw water with every sweep. Built heavy for long casts and maximum presence, it creates a violent surface disturbance followed by a slow, menacing rise that keeps big GTs, tuna and kingfish locked on target. Ships unrigged so you can tune power, hang time and rise rate with your hook choice.

Flared cup face: throws water forward and sideways, signalling predators from distance.
Deep-diving keel: bites and drives the lure down, holding track through chop and sweep.
Slow, dominant rise: pauses with a body roll, giving predators a perfect kill shot.
Weight-balanced core: rockets casts long and flat for coverage across reefs, pins and bait schools.
Rigging versatility: tune with heavy trebles for bite insurance, or singles for maximum holding power.

Tip: in big water, drive two or three hard sweeps, then pause. Tyrant’s hang and bubble trail often trigger explosive surface eats.

Pop ? Dive ? Roar ? Rise. Unlike some poppers that tumble in flight, the Tyrant will cut through the air for super long casts out to the strike zone. A long heavy stab will create a deep blooping noise and explosive splash, short sharp jerks produce a porpoising action with seductive surface splash and water spray.

Due to its buoyancy up front the Tyrant will work perfectly with any heavy hook combination, including large double trebles at the recommended size.
