Therefore the Ocean Angler Pixel Micro Jig range plummet to the bottom of the ocean in a very erratic nature that is designed to capture the attention of fish and trigger their predatory instincts. These lures ensure you fish the sign you've spotted quickly, allowing it easier to target all your favourite in-shore species - including kahawai, snapper, gurnard, trevally and kingfish!

Make sure you attach the Pixel to the lure using the solid metal ring and not the split ring or wire loop. The assist rig can be connected with a loop knot or small, sturdy clip to allow it to rise and fall freely and be sucked into the mouth of biting fish. Pixels perform incredibly well in water that is just 10 to 20 metres deep, but they can also reach the bottom of very deep water (40 to 50 metres). To get the best motion from them, they may need to be lifted and dropped at a reasonably vertical angle as opposed to horizontally, so they can be lobbed or thrown up ahead of the drift. Small baitfish don’t flash off at high speed. Instead, they dart around with small jerky movements, so attempt to imitate this action with your rod. Use a slow-jig rod or a soft-bait rod to jig upward before falling back down. Alternatively, lift and wind gently in a mechanical jigging motion for a short distance. or both combined.
