If you are commuting, heading to school, your next lecture or jumping on the trail for a day hike the 22L daypack is a perfect size. This midsize 22-litre daypack stores your walkabout necessities and features a highly breathable back panel and shoulder straps; extra pockets include externals on the top and the front. Made of rugged 100% recycled nylon. Featuring all the technology you have come to expect from Patagonia this is the definition of a staple item.

Recycled Nylon
True to the ethos of the company Patagonia has been using recycled polyester in their garments for 20 years, although for an unknown reason, nylon is more difficult to recycle than polyester. It has taken years of research, development, and testing but Patagonia has finally found some recycled nylon fibres that are suitable for apparel. Some of the recycled nylon they use comes from post-industrial waste fibre, yarn collected from a spinning factory, and waste from the weaving mills that can be processed into reusable nylon fibre. They're diligently searching for a success story with recycled nylon. The challenge lies ahead of them, and they're committed to discovering the best methods to recycle nylon fibre, but it appears this evolution will take many years.
