About Front Runner

Roof platforms and mounts
The Slimline II roof platform is a low profile, flat rack system made from strong, lightweight aluminium. It comes in kits made to fit specific vehicles, from utes and wagons to classic 4WDs, and its slotted design lets you mount almost anything to it. Front Runner makes mounts and brackets for jerry cans, spades, recovery boards, gas bottles, awnings and much more, so you can build a rack that suits your trip.

The Wolf Pack Pro has a reinforced design and secure latches. The smaller Cub Pack is a compact version for lighter items.

How do I carry water when 4WD touring?

Front Runner Stratchits are heavy duty stretch straps used to secure gear to a roof rack, in a ute tray or inside a vehicle. They combine the stretch of an elastic strap with stronger, more durable materials and secure hooks, so loads stay put on rough roads. Stratchit Shorties are a shorter version for smaller items. Use enough straps to hold the load firmly and check them during stops.
Do I need a ladder for my roof rack?
A ladder makes it much safer and easier to load and unload a roof rack, especially on taller vehicles and when reaching a rooftop tent. Climbing on tyres, bumpers or door sills can lead to slips and damage. Front Runner makes vehicle specific ladders and a spare wheel step that hooks onto your tyre for quick access.
