The Black Diamond Distance Z is a reliable, everyday aluminium trekking pole built for trail runners and hikers who want quick Z-Pole deployment without the carbon price tag. A Z-Pole fixed-length three-section foldable construction with speed-cone deployment gets you moving fast, while 7075 aluminium shafts made from a minimum of 30% pre-consumer recycled content (UL Validated) deliver dependable three-season performance across a wide range of mountain adventures.

Optimised joint support and stiffness provide increased durability on technical ground, and a lightweight EVA Lite Foam grip with breathable, moisture-wicking grip extension keeps hands comfortable at pace. The Distance strap is breathable and moisture-wicking for reliable comfort and support over long days. Interchangeable Tech Tips compatible with both carbide and rubber tips are included, and removable low-profile baskets add versatility across terrain types.

Available in four fixed lengths from 100 to 130 cm in a unisex fit, and compatible with the Z-Pole Snow Basket for winter use.
