The Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z is the ultimate lightweight Z-Pole for fast-and-light alpinism, trail running and speed hiking. Constructed with 100% carbon fiber shafts, the Distance Carbon Z shaves weight and bulk without sacrificing durability, and a three-section foldable design with speed-cone deployment means it is ready to use in seconds.

Optimised joint support and stiffness deliver the rigidity needed on technical terrain, while a slimmed-down shaft diameter keeps the overall weight to a minimum. An ultralight EVA Lite Foam grip with breathable, moisture-wicking grip extension and recycled nylon wrist strap provide comfortable, secure hold at pace. Interchangeable Tech Tips are compatible with both carbide and rubber tips, with both included, and removable low-profile baskets add versatility across terrain types.

Available in six lengths from 105 to 130 cm in a unisex fit, and compatible with the Z-Pole Snow Basket for winter use. The Distance Carbon Z is the detail-driven pillar of Black Diamond pole technology.
