THE NEW EVOLOUTION OF RODS FOR ELECTRIC REELS
Introducing the SEAPOWER, a specially crafted handheld electric rod tailored to complement the rising trend of smaller 300 size electric reels in New Zealand. This rod features Daiwa's advanced GLATECH material, combining a carbon core wrapped perpendicular to the rod blank with longitudinal single-axis fibreglass, providing the desired softness and shock absorption. As most fights take place with the rod secured in a gunwale holder, the electric rod benefits from a softer blank action.
To enhance torsional stiffness and reduce blank twist, the X45X Full Shield technology is employed, preventing power loss during intense battles. The rod stands out with its striking gold finish Fuji Silicon Carbide SiC guides, while a heavy-duty ALPS swiveling roller tip ensures smooth line control and avoids tangles during retrieval. Custom-designed Daiwa bent butt complements each SEAPOWER model, achieving the perfect length for optimal performance. The B63-3/4 model, specifically designed for use with the newer generation smaller 300 size electric reels, embodies the exceptional features and craftsmanship of the SEAPOWER series.
HVF Nanoplus
Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.
3DX
3DX supports the lower power section of the rod by knitting densely packed carbon fibres in 3 directions to achieve a six wrap rectangular weave. Power through the blank under load is distributed evenly in all directions allowing it to maintain its profile and form. This process confines the rod's power to the lower section of the rod, increases power, eliminates blank twist and collapse, all the while reducing angler fatigue.
X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.
