It is the ultimate Slow jig rod with a soft tip to be forgiving on the small hooks used but responsive enough to keep constant tension on the fish. As you move down the rod there is plenty of grunt created by the high modulus carbon, even the most stubborn of fish can be turned. With the highest quality ALPS reel seat and guides this rod is nothing short of perfect for slow jigging!
