Compact baitcasting reel purpose built for inshore jigging. The new Daiwa Fune XT baitcasting reel is purpose built for light inshore jigging applications. Designed to be both powerful and lightweight, the Fune XT features a super metal frame construction. This enables a compact design that retains structural integrity even under high load. Leveraging this solid base platform Daiwa has achieved a level of lightness in hand, that simply makes the Fune XT a pleasure to use. A 5 ball bearing system provides silky smooth winding, while a large main gear, oversized 100mm handle arm, and large EVA Ball Knob, provide anglers with cranking power, balance and control. To support this Daiwa has incorporated a powerful drag system with a large teflon PTFE drag washer capable of providing a smooth 5kg of drag pressure, giving anglers to confidence to go to battle with trophy sized fish.
