A PURPOSE-BUILT KNIFE FOR MUSHROOM FORAGING

The Opinel No. 8 Stainless Steel Mushroom Foraging Knife will have you ready for the mushroom picking, purpose-built to pick, remove dust, and clean your mushrooms out in the field, making it an essential tool for mushroom lovers and foragers alike.

The handle is equipped with a boar bristle brush and a blade with a toothed back, making it easy to brush away dust and debris before slicing cleanly through the stem. The 8cm blade is constructed from martensitic stainless steel, offering high corrosion resistance and a high-quality cut in a hardness of 55-57 HRC.

The 10.9cm handle is made from PEFC-certified beech wood sourced from eco-managed farms in the Jura and Vercors regions, hard, resistant, and easy to work, and varnished to protect it from moisture and dirt. The knife also features the Virobloc safety ring, which securely locks the blade in both open and closed positions.
