THE ROD - Primal Wild 7ft 10in #6 Weight Rod
The new Primal Wild combines all of the good stuff that goes into our Primal freshwater fly rods and squishes it down into a mini me 7'10" six weight version for the kids to have a go.
Rod Features:
- ULTRALIGHT HELICAL CORE - We start with our UHC technology of an ultra-light helical core to support hoop strength and stabilise the blank in flex.
- AMPLIFIED NANO RESIN - This is overlaid with high modulus fibres reinforced with our amplified nano resin which reinforces the blank without dampening the graphite fibres.
- LOW MASS SCRIM - Primal’s low mass scrim technology maximises hoop strength without dampening the rod via adding additional weight like traditional glass scrims.
- LONGITUDINAL FIBRE ALIGNMENT - At Primal we use custom off axis prepregs that, when rolled, ensure the important longitudinal fibres are aligned along the length of the blank. The result is more feel, improved energy flow throughout the cast and lightning quick recovery rates.
- CODURA ROD TRAVEL TUBE - With carry strap and cloth rod bag.

THE REEL - FlyLab Pulse 5/6 Weight Reel
FlyLab Pulse 5/6 Weight Reel is machine finished die cast aluminium reel that is designed in New Zealand and ready for NZ rivers.
The large surface area disc drag design, along with a soft touch handle make it hard wearing and dependable.
THE LINE - Mainic Coil WF6F Line
Mainic Coil WF6F Line stock is a quality line at an entry level price point. With its easy loading front taper and stretchy core, these fly lines are very forgiving and help casters of all abilities.
