The Black Diamond Storm 450 is built for epics in demanding conditions, combining a robust IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof housing with 450 lumens of maximum output. Engineered for alpinists, climbers and trail runners who need reliable, high-performance lighting from summit to trailhead.

Dual-Fuel compatibility gives you maximum flexibility in the field, powering the Storm 450 with either the rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery or three standard AAA batteries. PowerTap™ Technology delivers instant access to full brightness with a single touch, while Brightness Memory means the headlamp returns to your last-used setting every time you power on. Three coloured night vision modes and peripheral white lighting round out a complete feature set for technical use in low-light environments.

A patented digital lockout feature prevents accidental activation in a pack or pocket, and a six-setting three-LED battery meter keeps you informed of remaining power. The updated multifaceted optical lens design improves efficiency across all output modes, extending runtime without sacrificing brightness.
