Product Description

THE DEPTHFINDER

The Airflo Depthfinder Big Game fly fishing line ensures your fly reaches and maintains depth with ease. Its 300gr to 700gr heads propel your fly downwards, while the Intermediate running line ensures it stays there. With its 50lb PowerCore, this line provides all the muscle you'll ever need. Undoubtedly, the Airflo Depthfinder Big Game is the toughest and most durable fast-sinking head fly line available today. Our new and improved seamless technology seamlessly blends variable densities to create the ultimate fast-sinking integrated head. This series sets itself apart from the competition in all areas of performance by combining our industry-leading high-density coating with our exclusive low-stretch PowerCore.

Aiflo Fly Line Technologies

For almost seven decades, fly lines have predominantly been crafted from PVC, a naturally rigid plastic necessitating plasticisers for functionality. However, these plasticisers are not integral to PVC lines. Upon production, PVC begins to deteriorate, leaching plasticisers into the environment and posing risks to both anglers and aquatic ecosystems. Over time, PVC lines become prone to cracking and failure. Moreover, as PVC decomposes, it releases Dioxins, hazardous bioaccumulating toxins. Consequently, recycling PVC lines safely is nearly impossible. That's why Airflo opts out of PVC altogether. Instead, they manufacture their lines from Polyurethane—a stable, inert, and fully recyclable material. Free from plasticisers, Polyurethane boasts exceptional durability, surpassing PVC's longevity.
